The TICAD8 African Scholarships are designed to cultivate high-quality human resources in the domains of Science, Technology, and Innovation, contributing to the future African STI network and beyond. E-JUST TICAD8 African Scholarships | Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the E-JUST TICAD8 Scholarships, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

• Candidates should be researchers or educators (or have the potential to become such) seeking to obtain a Master of Science or Ph.D. degree in the disciplines of Science or Engineering.
• Applicants must be citizens of an African nation, excluding Egypt.
• Demonstration of outstanding academic and research capabilities is required.
• Those applying for the master’s scholarship must possess a relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution.
• Candidates for the Ph.D. scholarship must hold a pertinent master’s degree from recognized universities.
• Applicants must maintain a current residence in an African country.
• Military service is not permitted for applicants.
• All admission requirements must be met, and candidates must successfully complete the academic interview and oral examination.
• Preference will be given to applicants who intend to continue their employment at their home universities or institutions following the completion of their postgraduate studies at E-JUST. In such cases, endorsement of the application by their home institution is necessary to ensure their return to their respective institutions in the future.
