Academic Calendar for the Second Semester of 2022–2023 at Federal Poly Offa

Building the Foundation in July and August

Sunday, July 30th, 2023: An Eager Beginning – The campus comes to life with the start of classes and the opening of the hostels for the second semester of the 2022–2023 Academic Session, which will serve both full-time (FT) and part-time (PT) students.

Monday, July 31, 2023: The beginning of lectures, the focal point of any academic session, sets the tone for the coming semester.

August 3, 2023: A crucial day, when the Academic Board meets and establishes the tone for the subsequent academic procedures.

Thursday, August 31, 2023, the first semester 2022–2023 examination results will be considered and approved.

September: Preparing for Midterms.

The week of September 18–22, 2023, offers a break from the academic grind with activities sponsored by the Students Union, clubs, societies, and other organizations that promote a sense of community.

Tuesday, September 26, 2023: The Academic Board meets once more for a crucial meeting.

To the end of the semester in October

The SIWES Orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3, 2023, and is open to all qualified students.

The lectures’ 11-week period of knowledge dissemination comes to an end on Friday, October 6, 2023.

A week has been set aside for revision, allowing students to review material and get ready for upcoming exams. It runs from Monday, October 9 through Friday, October 13, 2023.

The start of the second semester examinations for full-time students will take place on Monday, October 16th, and will last for three strenuous weeks.

In November, part-time students will finish up.
