Applications for admission to undergraduate Sandwich Degree Programs are being accepted from adequately qualified individuals for the 2022–2023 Long Vacation Session at the Faculty of Education, Benue State University, Makurdi. Interested parties must obtain registration numbers and apply through JAMB.

Requirements for Admission to the BSU Sandwich Program

Candidates must fulfill both the general and program-specific requirements in order to be eligible for admission.

General Requirements for Entry:

The requirements listed below are for general entry.

passes the NCE in at least two major subjects and earns the equivalent credits in three other subjects from the SSCE O’Level.

A minimum of two IJMB passes, or a GCE A/Level combined with credits from an SSCE or GCE O/Level, or an equivalent in three additional subjects.

1. All courses require a credit in English.
2. Unless otherwise noted, all courses require a passing grade in mathematics.
3. Applicants will only be admitted if they have diplomas from accredited schools in five relevant Oevel courses.
   Special prerequisites: i. English B.A. (Ed.). It requires at least a passing grade in literature. ii. A mathematics credit is necessary for science-based courses, such as B.Sc. (Ed.) courses in biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics.

iii. A credit in mathematics is required for B.Sc. (Ed.) Economics and Geography.

iv. For students with exceptional scores in the Federal Craft Training Certificate Examination, a good performance in the Technology Areas at City and Guilds or WAEC Technical Certificate Examination may be taken into consideration in addition to the Federal Craft Training Certificate for the B.Sc. (Ed) in Technology.

ASC/C&G/GCE/SSCE/NTC/O’ Level credit passes in three additional courses, such as English language, mathematics, physics, chemistry, technical drawing, and any other two technological disciplines, are required in addition to two passes in pertinent Advanced level subjects.
It should be noted that having years of relevant teaching experience will be advantageous for admission to all courses.

How to Fill Out Admission Form for BSU Sandwich

JAMB is the application portal for those seeking admission to the 2022/2023 Contact Session. In order to gain registration numbers for Sandwich, candidates must first attend to the JAMB Office and obtain JAMB admission forms. After that, they must travel to Zenith Bank and pay a processing fee of Six Thousand Five Hundred (N6,500.00) Naira to the following bank details;

Make a payment of N6,500.00 into the BSU Sandwich Account account number 1010445089 at Zenith Bank.

Processing forms are then obtained from the office of the Coordinator, Sandwich Programme on presentation of the payment teller processing fee.
