FUTA 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening Registration Begins July 25

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. The online registration portal will open from Friday, July 25 and close on Friday, August 28, 2025.

This exercise is open to all UTME and Direct Entry candidates who made FUTA their First Choice Institution and meet the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for FUTA Post-UTME 2025

Who Can Apply?

• UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2025 JAMB UTME.
• Direct Entry (DE) candidates must have selected FUTA as their first choice in JAMB.
• All applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings in relevant O’ Level examinations (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent).

Age Requirement

• All candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.

How to Apply for FUTA Post-UTME Screening

Application Steps

1. Visit the official FUTA website at www.futa.edu.ng.
2. Read the full Post-UTME registration guidelines.
3. Complete the FUTA Post-UTME Application Form online.
4. Generate the necessary Remita payment code.
5. Pay the non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 at any commercial bank using the Remita platform.
6. Return to the portal to complete the application and print out your Registration Form.

Important Notes

• Use the correct JAMB registration number and full names (as they appear on your JAMB slip) when making payment and filling the form.
• Registration is strictly online no physical submission is required.
• Registration ends by 11:59 PM on August 28, 2025.

Uploading O’ Level Results to JAMB CAPS is Mandatory

All candidates must upload their O’ level results to the JAMB CAPS portal and ensure that FUTA is listed as their first choice on or before August 28, 2025. Failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification from the admission process.

Screening Fee and Payment Options

• Screening Fee: ₦2,000 only
• Payment Platform: Remita (payable via any commercial bank)
• Ensure payment is made before the deadline; late payments will not be accepted.

Why This Screening Is Important

Candidates who fail to participate in the screening will not be considered for admission into any course or programme offered by FUTA. It is, therefore, critical to complete the application and screening process on time.
