NECO Publishes 2025 BECE Results, Sets Dates for Resit Exams

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially released the results of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), a key academic milestone for junior secondary school students across Nigeria.

The release of the results was confirmed at the Award Committee Meeting held at NECO headquarters in Minna, Niger State. The meeting was presided over by Folake David, Chairperson of the Committee and Director of Basic Education at the Federal Ministry of Education.

Folake David expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the examinations, the timely collation of results, and the strict adherence to examination guidelines.

“The process was credible, efficient, and reflective of the council’s commitment to educational standards in Nigeria,” she stated.

Resit Examinations Announced for Mathematics and English

In a significant development for students who may need a second attempt, the Award Committee has approved a resit exam schedule for two core subjects: Mathematics and English Studies.
