Adefisayo reappointed as Lagos state commissioner for basic education

Folashade Adefisayo has been reappointed as the commissioner for basic education by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State.

This information was released on Friday, July 28, 2023, in a statement that was signed by the Governor’s chief press secretary, Gboyega Akoshile.

The statement claims that Adefisayo was one of the 39 nominees for commissioner who were sent to the State House of Assembly for approval.

Some of the state executive committee members who served alongside the governor during his first term in office were also reappointed by him.

Akin Abayomi, the state’s former commissioner for health, Gbenga Omotoso, his counterpart in information and strategy, and Sam Egube from the ministry of budget and national planning are among those who were also retained
