BUK Notifies Students of the Documentation Exercise for New Admitted Students

A mandatory documentation exercise has been issued by the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) authorities for all newly accepted students for the 2022–2023 academic year. Details are provided below.

This is to notify all accepted candidates for the academic year 2022–2023 that they must attend a required documentation exercise. The following is the scheduled start time for the exercise.

DAYS 1 – 3: Every Faculties based in the New Campus

Date: January 15th, , Monday – 17th  Wednesday, 2024
Venue: New Campus’s Convocation Arena
DAYS 4 AND 5: All Faculties based in the Old Campus

Date:  Thursday, 18 to Friday, 19 January, 2024
Venue: Old Campus’s Mahmud Tukur Theatre B

For the documentation exercise, all accepted candidates should bring both original and photocopies of the following:

1. The letter of admission for JAMB
2. Letter of Admission to BUK
3. JAMB Acknowledgment slips for candidates using direct entry
4. BUK Acknowledgment Slip for Candidates for Direct Entry
5. JAMB Result Slip for Candidates for the UTM
6. A-level Results Statement (ONLY FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES)
7. O Level Results Statement and Web Print (SSCE)
8. O level result Checker Card (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS) It is suggested that candidates with NECO June/July 2019 to 2021 present their token.
9. Testimonial or Primary School Leaving Certificate (if Available)
10. Certificate of Birth and Age Declaration
11. Fulfilled Intent Form
12. Medical Fitness Certificate
13. Proof that the acceptance fees have been paid
14. A pair of newly taken passport photos

Note: It is mandatory for all newly admitted undergraduate students to complete the Documentation Exercise.
