The management of the University of Benin confirmed that all undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs have been fully accredited by the NUC following the latest accreditation exercise conducted in October and November last year
The result was officially communicated in a letter dated April 7, 2026, addressed to the Vice Chancellor, confirming the university’s compliance with academic standards across all faculties, schools, and center

The university noted that the full accreditation status is valid for five years, lasting until 2030 This means all programs offered by UNIBEN are fully recognized and approved for academic training during this period without restriction
