In a similar move, Prof. Babatunde Salako has been appointed Chairman of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) His appointment follows the earlier reappointment of Prof. Idris Bugaje as Executive Secretary for a second and final five year term

In the polytechnic sector, President Tinubu named Dr. Bongfa Binfa as the new Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, N’yak Shendam in Plateau State His tenure will last for a single term of five years
