Six students scored 01 in the 2023 National Common Entrance Examinations, according to the National Examinations Council (NECO).
Andrew Adejo, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education, stated this at a score breakdown in Abuja on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
According to him, whereas 6 students received the lowest score of 01, 76 students received the maximum score of 203.
“72,865 primary school pupils registered, compared with 71,738 for 2022, with Lagos State having the largest number of 18,644 and Taraba State having the smallest number,” Adejo explained. With 38,801 female registrants compared to 34,064 males, we are making progress toward achieving gender parity. “3,036 students were absent; 76 students received the best score of 203; six students received the lowest score of 01 mark.”
