The Atlantic Hall School, Epe, advised students to work hard

At the school’s 31st Valedictory Service and Graduation Ceremony, the Principal of Atlantic Hall, Dr. Terry Howard, encouraged the departing students to keep growing and learning.

At the ceremony, 79 students in all received diplomas.

I’ll encourage each of you to cling tightly to the religious and personal ideals that have become a part of you, he said.   Stand up for what you believe in and be wary of people who might advise you to alter in order to become someone who isn’t truly “you.”

 Continue everything that you take on with the same level of dedication you have shown during your at Atlantic Hall for years.  To reach your goals, keep up the good effort.  Make your parents proud as you go along.  Continue to develop and learn.  Keep taking pleasure in the nice things that come your way.   You will experience another ceremony similar to this when you graduate from college in a few more years.

Mofetolu Kuponiyi, the student who graduated with a perfect cumulative GPA of 4.00, urged other students to have resilience if they wanted to excel like her.

She suggested that teachers undergo sufficient training and emphasized the value of textbooks and other instructional tools for both students and teachers.

Anuoluwapo Toluhi, head boy of the 2022–2023 class, wished everyone well in their aspirations outside of Ahall. Thank you to the parents of the 2023 class; some of your kids are among the best people I have ever encountered.

The honoree was Mohammed Abdul-Razaq, a graduate of Atlantic Hall School and Senior Vice President of the Africa Finance Corporation’s Financial Advisory Team.

Additionally present was Mrs. Marlies Allan, the chairman of the Atlantic Hall Educational Trust Council.
