The management of Edo State University, Iyamho (EDSU), has commenced the sale of application forms for its 2026/2027 Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Program
The program runs for one academic session (two semesters) and prepares students for Direct Entry admission into 200 Level after successfully passing the JUPEB examination
Unlike the conventional admission process, applicants do not need to sit for the JAMB UTME before enrolling in the program
What is the Edo State University JUPEB Program?
JUPEB is an Advanced Level program approved for students who intend to gain admission directly into the second year (200 Level) of a university degree program
During the program, candidates study three subjects related to their intended course before sitting for the national JUPEB examination

Applicants must meet the following conditions before applying:
- Possess at least five (5) O’ Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics
- Obtain the required credits in not more than two sittings
Special Requirement for MBBS
- Candidates seeking admission into Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) must obtain all five required O’ Level credits in one sitting
