Nigeria Customs Releases Final List of Successful Candidates
The Nigeria Customs Service announced the release of the final list of successful candidates in its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise for the position of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II)
In a statement issued by the National Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Maiwada, the Service urged applicants to visit the official Nigeria Customs recruitment portal to verify their selection status
Successful candidates will also receive official notifications through their registered email addresses and SMS, providing instructions for the next phase of the recruitment process
Medical Documentation Portal Opens July 29
According to the Service, the medical documentation portal became active on July 29, allowing successful candidates to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness
Candidates must log into the official portal using either their National Identification Number (NIN) or their registered email address to complete the process
Medical Certificate Requirements
Applicants are required to:
- Obtain a Medical Certificate of Fitness from a government recognized hospital
- Upload the certificate through the official Customs recruitment portal
- Complete the upload within one week of the portal opening
The Nigeria Customs Service emphasized that submissions made after the deadline may not be accepted
Candidates Must Accept Their Appointment Offer
Apart from submitting medical documents, successful candidates are expected to update their current state of residence accurately on the recruitment portal
They must also formally accept their provisional appointment by selecting the “Accept Offer” option available on the portal
The Service explained that candidates who successfully complete this stage will later receive a Trainee Identification Number, which is expected to be issued within one week
Physical Screening Details to Be Announced
The Nigeria Customs Service stated that information regarding physical documentation, screening dates, venues, and required documents will be communicated through its official channels
Candidates are advised to regularly monitor their email inboxes, SMS notifications, and the official recruitment portal for updates
Completing every stage of the recruitment process within the stipulated timelines remains compulsory
Nigeria Customs Warns Against Missing Deadlines
The Service cautioned that any successful candidate who fails to upload the required medical documents, update personal information, or accept the provisional appointment before the deadline risks losing the offer
Applicants were therefore encouraged to strictly follow all official instructions to avoid disqualification
Comptroller General Congratulates Successful Applicants
The Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, congratulated all successful candidates on reaching the final stage of the recruitment exercise
He encouraged the new recruits to prepare for a career built on professionalism, integrity, discipline, and dedicated service to Nigeria
