Government of Malaysia MCTP Scholarship Details:

The Malaysian government sponsors the MTCP Scholarship, which is intended to help overseas students from developing nations complete their postgraduate studies in Malaysia.

The scholarship also aims to provide recipients with the information and skills they need to advance their native country’s development. For the Master’s Degree Program, the grant will last for 24 to 36 months.

2024 Government of Malaysia MCTP Scholarship Requirements:

To be eligible for the MCTP Scholarships offered by the Government of Malaysia, you need to:

• must have undertaken a study programme in the field of Science, Technology and Engineering (not including nursing, medicine, clinical pharmacy), Economics, Finance, Management and Banking, Social Science and Humanities, Information and Communication Technology, International Relations and Political Science, Agriculture and Aquaculture, or Education at an eligible university.

• must not be more than 45 years old.

• must have second-class upper honors with a minimum 3.50 GPA.

• must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:

• IELTS – 6.0

• TOEFL IBT – 70

2024 MCTP Scholarship Duration and Reward

• The students will be provided full tuition fees and a monthly allowance of RMB 3,500.

• Travel: One-off return economy-class airline ticket from the student’s closest international airport to Malaysia and back to their home country.
