Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has officially announced the commencement of academic activities for the 2025/2026 academic session The university management confirmed that both fresh and returning students are expected to resume fully on Monday, 18th May, 2026

The Management of Bayero University, Kano disclosed that the 2025/2026 academic session will officially commence on Monday, 18th May, 2026

According to the statement released by the institution, all necessary preparations have already been completed to guarantee a smooth resumption process for students and staff across the university community

Fresh and returning students are expected to begin academic activities immediately upon resumption

Lecture Timetables and Course Registration Details Released

The university management revealed that lecture timetables have already been pasted across various faculties and departments within the institution

In addition, courses and their respective course codes have been uploaded to the university portal to enable students complete their registration process without delay

BUK management emphasized that full lectures will begin on the same day of resumption, Monday, 18th May, 2026

The university disclosed that the Vice Chancellor’s Monitoring Team will begin inspection visits from the first day of resumption
