The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, now operating as the Federal University of Technology, Ilaro, has officially announced the sale of its Open Distance Flexible E Learning (ODFEL) Higher National Diploma (HND) admission form for the 2026/2027 academic session

Eligibility Requirements for ODFEL HND Admission
Candidates applying for the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro ODFEL program must meet the following conditions:
- Possess a National Diploma (ND) with at least Lower Credit in a related discipline
- Complete a minimum of two years Industrial Training (IT) experience after ND
- Have at least five O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics.
- Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NABTEC
- Candidates awaiting O’Level results can apply but must upload results on the JAMB portal before final submission
- International applicants are also required to participate in the screening process
How to Apply for Federal Polytechnic Ilaro ODFEL HND Form
Applicants are expected to follow the official admission process carefully
First, candidates should apply through the JAMB portal for the 2026/2027 ODFEL HND admission exercise
After that, visit the institution’s official portal and click on “New Application” followed by “Apply Now” to complete the registration form online
Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦2,000 through approved banks including:

- First Bank
- GTBank
- Access Bank
- Zenith Bank Plc
Candidates must ensure that both the invoice and RRR receipt carry their correct names
Transcript Submission and Important Instructions
All applicants must request their ND awarding institutions to send academic transcripts directly to the Registrar in a sealed confidential envelope
Candidates who did not graduate from Federal Polytechnic Ilaro are especially advised to ensure their transcripts arrive before submission of the application form, as failure to do so may delay processing
The institution also confirmed that ODFEL students will receive a Certificate of Exclusion from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
