Tanimu Yunusa, an indigene of Sokoto State, has assumed office as the 18th NYSC coordinator in Abia State His appointment follows the redeployment of his predecessor, Gladys Adama, to the Human Resources Department at the NYSC national headquarters in Abuja

The official handover ceremony took place at the NYSC state secretariat in Umuahia, drawing staff and stakeholders who welcomed the new leadership

Before his appointment, Yunusa served as the acting head of publicity at the NYSC directorate headquarters, bringing with him valuable administrative and communication experience
