Lagos Govt distributes learning packs to schools

To keep students interested during the lengthy break, the Lagos State Office of Education Quality Assurance has provided study materials to schools in the state’s six educational districts.

The distribution, which recently took place, was a Lagos Learn Together Learning Platform initiative, according to a statement released by the OEQA on Monday.

The OEQA came up with the LLT Learning Platform initiative, which was launched in 2021 and is updated regularly in both physical and digital formats. Its goal is to support remote learning and guarantee learning continuity, particularly in times of emergencies or extended vacations.

Speaking at the handing out of the learning packets, the Director-General of the Office of Education Quality Assurance, Mrs. Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, stated that the LLT aimed to revolutionize learning, promote reading culture, and deepen existing educational equality by increasing access to educational resources, particularly during extended holidays.

According to Seriki-Ayeni, all schools below the tertiary level of education now have access to free educational resources for students, instructors, parents, and other stakeholders.

She urged students to make wise use of the resources offered and to make the most of the opportunities presented by the initiative in order to improve both education and society.
